Consolidated list of new medicines registered in South Africa. Registrations are regulated and notified by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA), which replaces the Medicines Control Council (MCC). Last updated July 2017.
This dataset was extracted from the attached pdf by:
1.) Tabula: import pdf and autoselect tables
2.) OpenRefine/ Excel/ GSheets: filter rows with "Registration number" and delete to remove extra table headers
3.) OpenRefine/ Excel/ GSheets: use substitute(Column 3, CHAR(10), " ") to remove line breaks in column 3 cells
